Rumble In Rhodos - Own Me Like The City


		Apr 30th Releaseparty and tour. Thank you all for coming to our releaseparty last week, it was sold out almost before the doors opened...complete mayhem! Thank you Jordan for coming up from Paris and playing with us! This weekend we will do the rest of the Norwegian release-shows in Trondheim, Bergen and Stavanger. A lot of new great reviews of Intentions are in, here is some of them: Avisa Nordland, Puls, Bergens Tidene we will post all reviews and articles soon. "Flavoured Envy" is still listed on NRK P3 and is now also listed on studentradios around Norway as well as Oslo´s localradios; Radio Nova and Radio Tango. The full Norwegian tour in support of the "Intentions" release will kick of in late august and some dates are allready confirmed, so check the live-section. Apr 30th Intentions is out! Intentions has been out a few days now and the press has embraced the album. Here are some of the reviews (in norwegian). VG, Aftenposten, Dagsavisen. All of the reviews will be posted in the press-section on our new website that will be up next week. Also: Tonight is the releaseshow on John Dee and we hope all of you wil show up and dance with us. After the gig, there´s an afterparty at Revolver where the band (DJ Anarchy In Ayanapa) will spin the records. Also tune in on MTV today, the video for "Flavoured Envy" will be aired for the very first time. Apr 23rd Reviews Even though the album is released next week, some reviews of "Intentions" are allready in. We´ve just got home from two weeks on the road with Dominic through the euopean continent. We wanna thank all of you who came to our shows, Kiwi and Andy, Dominic, Lars, Anne-Linn and Håvard for making the tour one great experience! Mar 10th "Intentions" completed! It is a pleasure to report that our new album "Intentions" is completed. It has been a tough month, but it was worth it. Our first single, "Flavoured Envy" is now available on our myspace profile. This track will also be the first music video from the album. Releasedate (Norway) is April 28th, the rest of Europe TBA (sometime in the fall). Feb 18th There´s some small changes in the live section. Malmö and Trondheim has been moved. Click to check it out. We have been busy writing and rehearsing the last six months and haven´t posted any news lately. Well here´s a lot of good news for you! February 1st we will start the recording of our second full lenght album. This will take place in Athletic Sound Studio in Halden with the legendary producer Kai Andersen. We can´t wait to start working with our new material, think it´s gonna be great. The album will be released by Black Balloon Records in Norway april 28th and the rest of the world later in 2008. It´s also time for us to hit the road again. We start of by playing By:Larm in Oslo the last weekend in february, then we will go back to europe for a two week tour with our friends in Dominic that kicks of march 28th. Norwegian tour starts in may. dates will be posted here soon. Stay tuned. Sept 23rd European tour. We will embark upon a small tour to a few selected European countries soon, check the dates in the shows-section. Also, we have been in the studio recording four of our newest songs in a pre-production/demo kind of thing. Apr 12th Dates cancelled! The swedish dates with Thunderbirds are Now! has been canceled due to circumstances beyond our control. We're happy to announce that we will be opening for the great american band, Thunderbirds Are Now!, in Oslo, Stockholm og Malmö next weekend. Here's a short update from the the RIR camp: Hopefully "Own me Like the City" will be released in BeNeLux countries, Germany, UK and Canada soon, more on that to follow. In our spare-time we're making new songs for our next album, and things are starting to work out. We're playing a gig at Cafe Mono in Oslo Monday 15th of May. It's gonna be more sweaty than ever!!! Apr 4th Back home We finnished up the tour with Infidels Forever i Halden this weekend. The last seven weeks have been alot of fun a lot of great gigs. We have been to Canada for a week now playing gigs at the CMW and promoting our band overseas. We also won the award for "best new international artist"! We are taking som time off from playing live these days and are preparing the album release and the forthcoming tour. We are also planning a videorelease at the same time. Our album-opener "Count Your Footsteps" is listed on every studentradio in Norway and it's being played the last couple of weeks on NRK P3. The highlight so far has been the Oya Festival in Oslo. We had a blast on stage and would like to thank all of you who came to the show and supported us. Allthough the norwegian press ignored us, the allmighty Fader Magazine from the UK saw our gig and loved it. The rocordings are still going on, but we are pretty confident that it will be completely mixed and mastered by the end of this month.
